Thank you for your interest in making Gemma’s Bridal Design and Alterations a part of your big day!
You’ve come to the right place. No matter how easy or difficult your project is, Gemma will always find a solution to get things done the right way. We are the place for your bridal alterations and design. Our mission is to make your dream dress and style come to life.
When making an appointment online, here are some things you need to know:
- You will complete 3 major fittings before we can release the dress back to you.
- Due to the high volume of our workload, we need a minimum of 3 months or 12 weeks to complete the work on your gown.
- If you have a short timeline, please don’t make this appointment online, call us directly to make the appointment.
- For a major redesign/reconstruction of your wedding gown, we need 4 to 5 months to work on your project. Please call our shop @ (480) 899-2736 before making this appointment to discuss the details of the project directly with Gemma.
- Please bring the following items on your first fitting:
- Shoes – if you don’t have the wedding shoes yet, please bring a comparable height. If you are wearing flats or sneakers/tennis shoes, it’s not necessary to bring them.
- Proper undergarments including Bustier. If it’s not available, you can wait until your fitting day, as we might be able to help find the right one for you to make it more convenient for you.

If you need to know exactly how much your alterations would cost, we charge a minimal consultation fee of $75. You will need to come into our shop and go through a fitting to determine the costs.
For a major redesign/reconstruction, this is more detailed and time-consuming. It normally requires a minimum of 40 minutes or more to determine the costs involved in your project. The consultation fee for this is between $75 to $100. Consultation fees are applied to the alterations costs if you use us for the alterations.
